Mystics is a welcoming space to get curious about spirituality, faith, intuition, and the deeper questions of being human.

This is not a class about being told what to believe or finding the “right” answer. It is a place to explore—to ask the questions we sometimes hesitate to ask in church, at home, or even within ourselves. What do I actually believe? How do I experience God or the Divine? What is intuition? How do I discern what is true for me? What happens when the beliefs I inherited no longer fully fit? And how can we become more present, connected, and awake in our everyday lives?

Rooted in the mystical tradition, Mystics invites us beyond simply talking about spirituality and into experiencing it for ourselves. Over the past year, our conversations have explored themes of presence, surrender, paradox, discernment, inner knowing, transformation, love, grief, uncertainty, and what it means to encounter the sacred in real life.

There is room here for faith and doubt, questions and uncertainty, traditional beliefs and new perspectives. You do not need to have the answers, share a particular belief system, or even know exactly what you believe. You only need a willingness to wonder.

Shannon leads the gathering through thoughtful conversation, reflection, and open discussion, allowing the questions and experiences in the room to help shape where the conversation goes. Every voice is welcome—and so is simply listening. There is never pressure to share.

At times, we will also expand beyond conversation by welcoming practitioners from the community to offer experiential practices such as meditation, centering prayer, breathwork, qigong, sound healing, Taizé, and other ways of quieting the mind and entering a deeper space of presence and connection.

This is a space for curiosity over certainty, experience over dogma, and meaningful conversation over having everything figured out.
